"The Koşan Cafe Project" is situated in Havran, Balıkesir. Sloped landscape formed the identity of the project. On the property where this project developed, there is already a shack, and both of the structures aimed to continue work together. When viewed on this scale, practically all of the building materials are in harmony with the environment, and care has been taken to utilize local materials. Local stone used both on the exterior walls and the roof, and local wood preferred for the interior spaces. At this scale, traditional structures have been addressed in a contemporary manner as opposed to being removed from this setting.
